I received requests to talk more about posting audio to a blog. Below is a sample audio post recorded using Audio Blogger. I set up an account with them in about 2 minutes and was able to post this just by calling the phone number that they give on the website.
This particular service works with Blogger. Here are a few paid services available that work on many blog platforms: Audblog, Audioblog. With the Audioblog service you can post videos as well as Podcasts.
You could add many types of stories, music, radio shows and videos to your blog that would present a message to draw an individual to consider Christ.
To me (right now) this seems like a cool toy, but that’s it. Maybe I’m the wrong audience for it, but for most things, I need to read them, not listen. Plus, from a marketing perspective, well, you can’t market that content for a SE to pick it up.
However, I do see it as a cool way to get some content up when you’re out and away from a computer. If you have a cell phone that takes photos, you could, in theory, put up photos and audio (even text messaging, no?) from a remote place onto a blog w/o ever using a computer.
