I think they will stick around for a while. But the problem is they are nothing special. Without RSS, a podcast is just posting an MP3. What makes uploading a mp3 a podcast is RSS. Right now not many understand RSS. Since you don't need a mp3 portable player, it's not different. I think, however, there is a market for podcasting. The ability to record content, get an audience, and put it out there is easy. I think it'll stick around a while. Good question. I think they will stick around for a while.
