“Most”- A Movie That Parallels The Easter Story
Mar 26th, 2006 by Doug
I had an opportunity to preview “Most“. This powerful movie, released in 2003, is a great tool to use for your Easter outreach. Here is an excerpt from the website.
“Between now and forever lies…the bridge. A powerful and moving film about a man who learns the true meaning of sacrifice. “MOST” is the story of an ordinary man forced to make an extraordinary decision. Shot entirely on location in the Czech Republic and Poland, “MOST” is a beautiful yet edgy film that draws you in and grabs your heart. In Czech “MOST” means, bridge. In this film, “MOST”, simply put, is the bridge between now and forever…lives forever changed.” Click here for more information.

This didn’t connect until I saw the trailer. I have heard this story as a sermon illustration for years! Even though I don’t speak much Czech, I instantly recognized the story. How long is this movie? Why am I just now hearing about it?
Jim,
The film is 30 minutes. I am not sure what they have done to market the film. What is nice about the film is that there are very few spoken lines and they have been subtitled in English.
